Questions people ask about towns and schools
- Which towns in Kenya have the most schools?
- Kangemi (74), Manyatta A (36), Ongata Rongai (36), Tudor (32), New Loresho (31). Counts are schools on the register in that town and sub-county.
- How do you decide which town a school is in?
- By the town in the Ministry of Education register. Where the register leaves it blank and we trust the school's position, we use the nearest populated place in GeoNames inside the same sub-county. Those are marked on each town page. A school's owner can correct it.
- Why is my town not listed?
- A town gets its own page when ten or more schools on the register are in it. Smaller places are on their sub-county page.
